Modified Land Rover Insurance Oman

Bit of a long shot this one but any help would be welcome.
A mate of mine is based in Oman and is in the fortunate position of having just ordered a Twisted Landie. For those not in the know check out their website cool as you like they are.
In any case he’s really struggling to find someone to insure it - the basic Landie is OK but the rather expensive mods would not be covered.
Any help gladly appreciated.

Who's he tried? Should be possible to get insurance for modified vehicles but the rules say that it can be subject to much heftier deductible excess in event of accident - up to 20%
Not up up on the world of extortionate lot priced defenders but if they are putting their own vin plates on then it's no longer a landrover and can be registered and valued appropriately. However I reckon this is (hassle x hassle) + hassle.
