Appel watch screen replacement?

Anyone had this done? Managed to smash mine whilst fishing for my phone down the side of the massively overengineered landrover seat.
Bought it at LHR with no AppleCare. Apparently it's 230quid to replace under such circumstances. Just wondered if anyone had encountered a karamaesque alternative?

You can usually find Apple's official repair prices online. I was looking for my iPhone and Dubai was cheaper than UK.
In the end I went with geeks.ae who came to my office to repair. Unsure if they do the Apple watches but they claim to use foxconn parts. I was pretty impressed with the replacement screen they did for me. Was around 120dhs cheaper than Apple too.
