Mrs Fats made the wise decision that the best way to enter the Villa when you have no keys, and are drunk, is by putting a 4 iron through the window. So she now needs to replace the glass. Any recommendations on places that do this?

You can take the scouser out of Liverpool, but............. you know the rest.

I would have thought a 3 iron would have been more effective, although longer and more difficult to swing when hammered.

She tried them. They could not understand that double glazed meant only one window. They kept trying to quote for 2 windows, so she hung up and binned them off.

Some fella turned up tonight, seems to know what he is talking about. Quoted 1800! Another one tomorrow morning and then choose from there. The guys tonight at least got rid of the glass from the door. Proper dangerous over here - one half clear tempered glass. The other big thick green glass that would kill you if you ran through it ! Health and safety?!

Anyway I am now running through the different options of what I would have done in that situation and how I'd have spent a max of 600 to get it done, including a nice sleep in a hotel !

Also it transpires it was a rescue wood. Fair play that is easier to hit than a 4 iron.
