Luxury car hire in Dubai - G63, SVR, X6M, Cayenne Turbo etc
Discussion
Can anyone recommend a hire firm in Dubai they have used for something nice (as per title really) to drive 3 or 4 of us around in for a few days in early December ?
I've looked at DB Luxury Cars, Dubai Number One, Jamal Prestige etc. and they all appear to be about the same price per day ($400-$550) and have the same deposit levels (c$2,000) which I am happy to pay but would like to know which ones are worth a chat with based on personal experience and if they can drop the car off at my hotel and pick it up again as well as not be "difficult" on the hand back if the car is exactly as it was delivered, albeit a little more dusty
Just looking for a bit of peace of mind as I've heard a few horror stories about people having their deposits retained and other financial surprises once the rental had been completed.

Sorry I don't have a recommendation, but I would underline the need to be extremely careful on pick up and handback.
A friend of mine hired me a Ferrari 458 for a weekend for my 40th birthday (good friend eh?!) and he noted some damage to the rear diffuser on pick up.
When he came to hand it back they were telling him it was new damage and he would lose his sizeable deposit. He had none of it, and is very used to dealing with all the nationalities over there, but it shows the importance of making a video or something, withe handover guy present, when you pick it up.
It's also not uncommon to pick up/drop off at a random hotel/office block, rather than a swanky car dealership.
Good luck

Cheers Rich, I thought that might be the case. I have also dug a bit deeper into a few of the more "sparkly" websites and discovered terms of business that basically say any damage will come out of your deposit and you will also be billed for every day the car is off the road for repairs, a sort of double whammy as they have your credit card details and may be looking to get a few days hire out of it.
Think I'll stick to Sixt or similar for a C class or 3-5 series and just mill about the place quietly
