Put a deposit down on one of these battlecruisers and now working through the paperwork needed (first time buying a car from a dealer!)

The dealer (one of the big chains) said they can do Nanolux tints for 995AED.

I recall someone was asking about tints a while back but I cannot find the thread.

Any thoughts on this or better off to get 3M (or where to get it done). I don't mind spending more but just don't want that purple looking stuff which is dire.

Many thanks in advance!

Won't Toyota throw it in for free?

Hi

I did not ask about that although from what I have read, it seems that that tint has the purple tinge (memories of life in Australia flooding back!) and so would prefer to get something very good quality

Surely in Australia the tint would have a hint of orange to match the colour of their national dress.....

I don't get it! Green and gold are the national colours - but then again, I have international day on the brain since had to do both Australia and Ireland for the kids school. Do not want to see any more cardboard, or glue, or any craft shops ever again!

Anyways, I spoke to dealer and they will include rego+mid level Nanolux or just high-level Nanolux (but no rego).

I am tempted to just forgo the tinting and get some 3M Crystalline done (quoted 2600 less a 35% discount at one place).

Any thoughts?

Cheers

My company released an update on the new 2017 traffic regs recently and it said that window tints can now be darker. Has anyone else seen this in the news or anything?

At the Abu Dhabi motor show last weekend there was talk of 50% being legal (up from 30%)
