Abu Dhabi Hotels for BBT and GP

Afternoon all.

I am coming over next week for the Big Boys Toys Show and also the Grand Prix.

Obviously appreciate Hotels are eye watering and my budget won't stretch to Yas Island, so....

I am looking for a recommendation for a hotel in the ~£250 / Night range with a bit of nightlife - does such a thing exist... in hotels in the UAE, do I need an American Chain?

Location near a beach if possible and also the ADNEC...

Also general advice on partying in UAE would be welcomed !

Al Raha beach is not too bad, but 30km away.

Centro Rotana on Yas is ok too and a lot closer.

Park Inn yas island is close too, i would be tempted to not worry about the hotel too much, just get a location near the circuit and treat the room as somewhere to get some sleep when you arent out spectating/going to the waterpark/ferrari world/ drinking far too much.

nightlife and abu dhabi are rarely mentioned in the same sentence. the capital is a lot quieter than its glitzy northern cousin.

i'd stay off yas personally as there's not enough to hold you there for the full weekend and what are normally sub £100 a night rooms go for stupid money. somewhere like the hyatt capital gate would suit you, next door to adnec, decent bar/restatuant choices close by and midway between the corniche and yas.
