The aircon in my car appears to have packed up.

Over the last few months I have been giving it top ups of gas with the latest on Saturday morning. Today, warm air only so I suspect a major leak somewhere. I am not sure if the compressor may be gone (it is a 2008 car so nearly 8 years in this climate may have taken its toll).

Can anyone recommend a decent aircon place here in Dubai? I would prefer to try that first before main dealer.

Many thanks in advance

Give Saluki Motorsport a call on 04 347 6939- we have a great AC technician who will be able to diagnose the issue.

Hi

I have it booked in for tomorrow morning for your tech to have a look at it.

Cheers

Just dropped it down - the new place looks amazing! I've passed on the details someone I know with an LR4 in case they are looking for an alternative to the main dealer.

I don't think you were around as otherwise would have said hello.

Very friendly team and apologies for the "the door handle does not work so you need to use a key; the shocks need to be replaced; the bonnet strut needs to replaced so need to use a stick and the sunroof does not slide closed if you open it"....other than that, its fine *grin*

Joking aside, more a case of getting all the parts in one go from the USA

Cheers

I second the recommendation for Saluki. They know what they are doing and one always has a chance to have a look at their fabrication area where they make race cars/sand rails etc.

If had popped by a couple of months ago you would have seen Saluki building the roll cage for our race car:
