How Did You End Up There

I've been thinking with Mrs B that some time working abroad would be good, looking towards the middle east but not really sure what kind of roles there are except oil & gas.

My background is all within automotive manufacturing but would be willing to give other industries a try if the role was right.

But curious to know how other people actually got out there & how they find it?
