Best Place to Buy Off-Road Wheels & Tyres?
Discussion
I need a set of new All-Terrain tyres/alignment checked etc for my rig. I'd also like a set of new rimz to add some extra machismo to my already #sobutchitsgay penis extension.
Anyone got any recommendations?
I've phoned a few tyre shops in Mussafa (AD), but understandably everyone is far too busy to be bothered by actual customers.
Anyway, I'll happily make the treck up to Dubai for a decent outfit with a hunter alignment machine etc.
Cheers.

I used http://www.fancyuae.com when I had the Raptor, not sure they have wheels but worth a ask. There is a showroom in Mussafah
Cheers guys
I tried Ramy (they have a gaff in Mussafah too), but their man was clearly just too busy fending off the hoards of people desperately clambering at the door.
FancyUAE is a good shout: I bought an obnoxious exhaust from them a few months back. Decent chap, but I gather he spends most of his time in Dubai now; hence I'm always told to "try again later sir".
Will try offroad zone, though. Thanks.
Sam - are you still in AD? What was your Raptor experience like? I seem to be the only one running a US import here (hence no warranty) and the dealer won't touch me. If know of any decent spanner-men, I'm due you a virtual beer (or a real one if you're still around)

I just got 4 x Goodrich AT/KO's fitted at MSW (Dubai) yesterday. I phoned around for a few prices first, and they were the best value, and also a very good service.
I know they have the KO2's in stock as I was toying with getting them. I ended up sticking with the KO's as they matched my budget better.
What I had hoped to do was to move the unused spare to one of the wheels, and use the best tyre (they are still road legal - just!) as the spare. The guy was happy to do that, but explained my unused spare was a 2012 manufacture mark and as this would be 4 years in October, it could get spotted at inspection time.
Apparently is fine on the spare, as that is only to be temporarily used. Unsure how true this is - but I could not be arsed with the hassle of dealing with it.

Did you deal with Sunil or Arnie? Both top notch blokes (as is the owner Jon and his ace mechanics Robbie). I need to change my Pajero tyres in a couple of months and I will be going to MSW.
I'll be honest I was on conference calls from when I walked in to when I walked out so did not catch anyone's name. I did spot who I guess was the owner pull up in an Alpina? The guy on the desk was very helpful, and not pushy on sales, and I would go back again when next tyres are needed.

I got my tires done in December there and echo the above - great service and good price unlike a couple of other places that shall remain nameless! The guy on the desk was very helpful, and not pushy on sales, and I would go back again when next tyres are needed.
