Been following the various threads on the forum for some time and thought it was about time i signed up smile

Right, so I've been in the sandbox for quite some time, probably nearing 8 odd years and now live in lovely old JVT. I have a 997tt for fun and the time has come to find a new daily driver. I have been using a Cayenne turbo 957 for work duty and dog transportation.

Ive decided that the B8 RS4 ticks all the boxes for me and apparently the new B9 RS4 will not be out for over a year. I do appreciate that the RS6 is better all round, but i cannot justify the extra 2-300k. I also cannot justify buying new when looking at the prices of ones that are a year old.

So the question is, why are there so few used RS4's for sale, why is there no appreciation for any estates over here? I had never really thought about it until now. Just like i never really realised or thought about there not being any microwave dinners for sale here either.

There are a total of 4 advertised, ones as good as sold, one doesn't answer, one is high mileage and no warranty and the last one is red... frownsmash

As you say simply a lack of appreciation for wagons here, do see the odd one pottering about but not many.

Audi's horrific service situation and also prices for said services/parts don't really help the case either.

Lovely cars though.

Is the 997 Silver and the Cayenne white?

If so I live just round the corner from you, you've also got a Defender?

If not, someone else in JVT has the same 2 pieces of Pork!

There was a blue one for sale down at the al aweer/ras al khor auto market thingy when I was down there a month ago. Drove in and it was at one of the showrooms on the inner part of the loop.

Porka Black and Cayenne grey lol. I think there are quite a few 997tt's in JVT also one GT3 !

I found one in the end, White one biggrin Picking it up this week. Need to remove the horrible sunstrip and the front window tints.

I saw the blue one, it looks great but a bit to loud for me to live with.

Its supposed to be Balsalt Black, but it has literally got the worst swirl marks you have ever seen. It does have 800whp though biggrin

Say what!?

Yes thought it was Basalt but fading into a grey effect, you should get them looked at to bring it back to life.
