We're racing again! Qatar Touring Car Championship

Well, last season got closed mid-season because the management at the Motorsport Authority were replaced and as a parting shot, rather than handing over the series, decided to cancel ALL motorsport events at Losail Circuit.
Thankfully the new management have already shown maturity and enthusiasm beyond anything we saw in the last 5 years and I'm SO pumped because now we have a Propper 2.0 Touring Car Championship to run in!

They've taken the series and revamped it with a new format and less silly technical regulations (I wont get into what the crack was, but it was very underhand and dirty tactics by some of the other drivers).

Anyway, the format is 3 Race weekends, Qali, 2 Races of 10 laps with a reverse grid for the second race. I can't wait!

All at Losail and I'll be racing! Grandstands are open and free and I'll probably be able to organise paddock passes for anyone who wants to come watch and have a mooch in the garage.

I was wondering why Losail was not doing much recently apart from the Moto GP.

I'll have to miss the first two weekends, Im over in Turkey but wish you all the very best. Its a sprint not a marathon so push hard and stay out of those gravel run offs.
