Dubai car photoshoot

Hi,

I may well be in Dubai next week 14th -18th with a day or two free (on another shoot). I'd like to see if anyone is interested in doing a car shoot with me - you'l get a set of images in return. Just need a few hours of your time to drive to some locations which we can discuss!

Anything exotic would be cool!

Ideally out in the dessert roads, maybe with the city as a backdrop, or coastal/mountain roads e.g. Jebel Hafeet but not sure how far that is to go too.

That would be cool but those are the exact dates that I'll be in London next week. Otherwise, we could have brought a 997.2 Carrara 4S and an R56 MINI JCW GP.

The colour (Volcano Yellow) is spectacular but proving difficult to take decent photos of. I'd be very happy to let someone who knows what they are doing have a go. Unfortunately I'm only likely to be available on the 18th next week.

Well done. I am not going to say "you lucky so and so" since obviously a return on a &*&^load of hard work on your part. Fantastic car.

Had the pleasure of a test drive in a MP4-12C a few years back - ruined cars for me since it was so comfortable, build quality felt great, ride quality was amazing (was in Dubai) and drop top too. Probably what people thought in 1991 when the NSX came out. That it went like absolute stink was icing on the cake.

Not wanting to hijack this thread but the 650S replaced this ...



Daily driven for the last 3 and a bit years and showing 37k km when they took it away. It does tend to reset your expectation of what is "normal" in a car!

It's my biggest (only) passion/hobby and therefore I possibly have been a little extravagent ... But it is Dubai 😀.

I also like to share with like minded individuals so I'm sure you'all all get to see this new one in the flesh at some point in the future.

Just an update - the shoot that was planned for me next week has fallen through so I won't be travelling to Dubai. I'm hoping maybe next month if I can get some interest I can travel over and just shoot cars! So if interested do carry on expressing interest and I'l get in touch.

I'd still be interested in a group photo shoot/bit of a drive. We could meet up at the Autodrome (home of the Radical I presume) and head out from there. It would give me a good reason to get the car washed.
