Just saw a helicopter fly down SZR

Was at Emirates Towers (on the Jumeriah side) and look up to see a helicopter flying down the middle of the road - about 8 stories up, if that.

Went up past the rouadabout then came back - there was a white stablished camera dome on the front so thought it was a TV/film helicopter but could swear it had camo on the fuselage

Looked very cool amidst the lights etc and traffic

They sometimes use a military helicopter for TV coverage, especially if it's Dubai TV.

Wish I had the camera with me and been on the office balcony - would have been looking down on it and a great photo.

We used to have the one that did the same down the middle of the highway. It headed to the Burj Al Arab and fly right past our top floor balcony in JLT every other Friday afternoon for a while. If you were outside you were directly eye level with it, we would wave every now and then LOL
