Possible? I think he had a couple of Exiges...
Thinking about it, he may be on dubaipetrolheads?
Probably this chap you are thinking of - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem...Thinking about it, he may be on dubaipetrolheads?
Not wanting to hijack the thread, but has anyone lived with an Evora for a while? Is the 3/4 - rear visibility a bit of a pain when you are looking out for landcrusiers undertaking and is the nose high enough to avoid most of the speed bumps? What are they like as a day to day propercision here?

Can't speak from the ownership proposition in the sand pit but can offer up some from spending enough time there coupled with time behind the wheel of one here... nose is high enough in standard ride height for the worst of speed bumps. Rear visibility not great but far better than the Exige (I see you had one before) and the wing mirrors are quite sizable and angled relatively wide so you get a decent perspective of what is over and undertaking. The rear quarter windows are pretty useless for over the shoulder life saver glances mind. By and large it's an easy enough day to day proposition. The new one no different if you were thinking of a 400. Drove one last week and it feels similar (lower sills but I found it less comfortable in terms of the sparco seats in place of recaros and the suspension slightly stiffer than the previous model).

We have had the Evora for just over a year, my wife drives it day to day and has no problems with speed bumps or blind spots. It does take a little getting used to but after an Exige I imagine the rear visibility to be much better.I find it holds good road presence and people tend to move out of the way for you, it has to be one of the best handling, braking and steering (feel) cars I have driven. Shame my wife wont let me take it on track......
Our is currently for sale on Dubizzle (black Non S manual) only reason for sale as we a are downsizing both our cars to release capital for a house purchase.
