The internal mechanism is Spanish brand beginning with F (I will get the name when I am home). It is a tall plastic tower arrangement between the button on the lid and the valve at the bottom.
The usual suspects had no idea what I was talking about and tried to sell something that clearly would not fit, nevertheless work, at some silly price.
Got in contact with the MENA rep and to cut a long story short, found a place in Al Satwa that sells them.
It is around 375 Al Satwa Road and is called Nasser Al Matrooshi Trading. 55AED for the full kit (float too and other mechanism parts)
