Scratch Repair on 2 day old car.

Friend of mine picked up a brand new car, second day after being parked in a mall the back bumper was scratched.
Took it back to the dealer who flat polished it which improved a bit but unfortunately still looked like this:
Not the best pics as the usual only had an I phone to hand.
Shame it broke the paint right at the top otherwise could have removed it almost completely.
Not a perfect job unfortunately as the plastic bumpers are much harder to get scratches out of than metal panels, but takes the eye off it and saves painting a 2 day old car!

Simple question if you run you nail across the scratch can you feel an indent? What colour is the car and if its not silver/white is it obvious to see the undercoat/metal colour underneath?

Yes I can feel the scratch, otherwise I would have tried to polish out - it is quite deep. Car is silver, and the scratch is noticeably darker. Will take a picture later to see if that helps the description.
