Anyone know what price a yellow gold Yacht Master II is in Dubai duty free, I'll be in transit in about 3 weeks time.

I'll be flying out mid sept and can ask for you then if it's not too late?

That said, the discount you get in the Rolex dealers here in the city works out the same as the duty free price, so I'll ask what the discounted price is next time I'm in the mall.

My explorer 1 worked out considerably cheaper to buy here than the UK.

Why not just call or email them to find out?

That's an impressive saving smile

Is that the number for the duty free shop?

Just went and asked at the Rolex Dealer in the mall, with discount it shouldn't work out too much different from duty free...

The discounted price they can offer is 148,000 dhs for the yellow gold.
At today's exchange rate 148k = £26,374.

Slight issue is no yellow gold ones in stock anywhere in Dubai as the last one was purchased yesterday, that said they say they always ensure at least one in stock across their stores, so expect delivery in the next couple of days.

White gold is in stock at 163700 dhs after discount.

To be honest, when you are in there with the money you should be able to get a little more knocked off I think - they did with me when I said I might be look to get mine in duty free.

Much appreciated, thank you!!!

I'm not sure where Shirt gets his price from, but I imagine that price is for the bi-metal version. The duty free price is £27875 so really not worth it especially as I can source one here for £23K

Thanks again

Nothing is cheap in Dubai any more. I can almost guarantee that anything on the shelf in Dubai is at least 10% more expensive than you can get it for in Europe or the USA.

That is why Shop and Ship does so well wink

The captive and misguided audience in Dubai Duty Free are charged more than the malls in Dubai too!

I was looking for a camera a few years ago, it was about 500 quid delivered from the USA, 700 in a mall in Dubai and 800 in Duty free. Go figure.
