I will be back in London next month and, to make a long story short, will need to bring back 4 shock absorbers that I am ordering from the US.

I may also need to bring back some springs (4) and bushings.

Has anyone done this and can I expect any problems or issues?

They would be brand new and unused.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Shouldn't be an issue as such, obviously check the overall weight.

Remove from boxes and packaging if brand new and have no receipts for them otherwise they can easily hit you with an import charge for new goods.

I bought in
tools
ecu's
wiring harness
suspension bushes
radiator
and lots of other car stuff no problem.

In checked in luggage, you will probably get pulled as they will not know what they are on the scan. Just say they are perforce car parts and you should be ok.

I did the same as well with Landrover parts (side steps, hoses etc). I got pulled but they were only interested in adding up the booze to make sure I wasn't over my limit, did care about the car parts. I was over the booze limit due to white wine vinegar etc, but they couldn't add up, luckily for me!
