So yesterday I decided to take the Truck into the desert for the first time. Brilliant fun by the way, and will definitely do again. However my lack of experience/ability meant that I cocked up. I thought I was on a motorbike and as I was coming to the bottom of the dunes I decided to give it some gas (like you do to get the front wheel up on a bike). I got away with it for most of the morning, before I went down a steeper one, and on accelarating I hit the bash plate pretty hard.

Nothing broken the bash plate did it's job. However it has bent the bottom bumper slightly out of line. I took a look at 07:00 this morning, and was going to remove, align and refit. But even looking with a cup of tea and a fag on the go, the sweats had started! Is too hot for me to do it.

The truck goes into delaer for a service on Monday, but I am sure they will charge a fortune in labour, and also they don't have the best reputation from what I have heard before. Anyone know anywhere that will do the alignment work well, and not cost an arm and a leg?

Photos below show what I mean - as you can see the "smile" has changed!

Try Robbies Motorsport and ask for Vlad, or try Saluki.

Could you not do it yourself? Take the bumper off, hammer the mounts back, bumper back on.

I've seen much worse than that!

Go for a steel tubular bumper and be done with it!
