Car hire in UK

Hello all,
I'm heading to the UK for 38 days next week, and i'm going to need a car. I usually just use Europcar through rentalcars website, but that's only for 10 days at a time. The searches are coming in at around a grand for a fiesta sized car. Does anyone have any recommendations on who to use for this length of time, or do I just do the usual and book through Europcar or Thrifty? Any suggestions welcome.

i've always found enterprise or avis to be cheapest.

hired a fiat 500l through enterprise in may. booked the day before for 5 days at £13/day including airport collection premium. the car itself was a heap of ste but its a 5dr with a decent boot and at that price who cares?
