I need to apply for a multiple entry Business Visa and have not found out much from the UK embassy website. Ringing them = no answer rolleyes

Can anyone lend any assistance on what is required? There is a very long list of travel agents on the embassy webpage, but how to know which is a good one..? Also can I not submit individually?

So far I have found necessary:

Application form - can't find one redface
Passport with 6 months - check
2x passport photos - can do
Business Letter from UK COmpany stating purpose and duration of visit - can do
Invitation letter from KSA company - check

Thanks!!! smile

I just renewed mine in February, first time from the UK as I have previously had a UAE visa and applied through VFS Tasheel.

My company provided an invitation letter and I supplied 2 passport photos plus my passport, sent to an agent in London.

I only had a weeks vacation to renew it and posted it all off on Saturday afternoon, missing the late collection so was told it would not be delivered to the agent until Tuesday.

I received it back in Devon on Thursday, recorded delivery. Massively impressive service, much quicker that the UAE muppets!

I even got my flight back and a week holiday paid by the company as I had no alternative to apply in the Middle East smile

Let me know if you want the agents details, I don't know how much it cost but was worth every penny! Can't be much more expensive than the UAE 'Platinium' service anyway!

as long as you have the letter then you can do it online via the saudi embassy website. print off the forms, pay the money online then trot over to the embassy.

can get it done in an afternoon.

easy peasy

Contact Harley Medical & Visa services, best in their game and used by all the big companies here in KSA for Uk expats.

As many have said above, use an agency

Don't try and do it yourself at KSA Embassy in London unless you have copious reserves of patience and self restraint.

And a day to waste.

complete bks, its the easiest process

1. print off forms, pay the money online.

2. go to embassy at 2pm, there isnt usually a que.

3. tell the guy you NEED it this afternoon inshallah

4. come back at 4pm pick up passport.

Not my experience, but I will concede that was a couple of years ago. And I will also concede that there wasn't a que (sic). That was the start of a lot of the frustration.

Anyway , if the company are picking up the tab I would still without hesitation recommend to use an Agency.

Maybe for the UK but it is no where near that simple in the UAE

Thanks for all the replies. For an update, I submitted my application via the enjazit webpage and sent off my passport by post last Tuesday (I had to wait for some other international travel to pass before i could send the passport off) and got a phonecall that I missed last Thursday. Didn't even think anything of it until this Tuesday when I realised that it was the embassy (it was suspiciously like a cold-caller that I had a few days earlier so I avoided it and they didn't leave a message). So I spent the next two days trying to call them - no answer. At all. rolleyes

On Friday I decided to just travel into London and speak to embassy direct. Apparently application denied because I had applied for a business visa (as requested in email by client company) but the letter of invitation stated commercial visit. rolleyesrolleyes I didn't notice the difference at the time unfortunately... Got passport back.

Today, just tried second attempt for online application and realise that a business visit visa actually describes the purpose of my visit far better than commercial visit. I could just submit anyway, but I don't particularly want to submit again and get another rejection if they question the nature of the "commerical" visit. I have written to the client company and asked that they change the invitation letter. Apparently the other person travelling from me (from a different department of the client company) also had to do this.

Once that is done, I will re-submit application and go to embassy again in person this time rather than use post service. I understand that 9am to 12pm is submission time for dropping passports off. 2-4pm is pick up time. Person I spoke to suggested 48 hours turnaround, but I shall try a plea for same day to save on another train journey.

So, so far, it has been a bit of an arse but I am not complaining about the embassy - more my fault for not fully checking client docs (and maybe them for not properly issuing them..?!). Should turn out ok though..! wobble I am looking forward to going.

That is like looking forward to being the guest of honor at the Spanish Inquisition.
