Hi! I need a visa for Afghanistan, can anyone recommend a PRO service please? I do think I'll need to go to the embassy myself, but hoping not to. Thanks

Also, do you know if you have to be related to the person if you want to sponsor them for a 90 visit visa and would that allow multiple entry?

if you're going to kandahar or bastion for work purposes you don't need a visa. i can't think of any sane reason why you'd want or need to go anywhere else.

i understand there's an increase in civilian commerce in kabul. in fact the wife of one of my colleagues was supposed to make a business trip there last month. after speaking to his/our contacts there she declined the opportunity.

whilst there'll be a fair number of western males working there, western females will be rare and will present a target. i'd have a serious read of security alerts if i were you and i don't mean those issued by the foreign office.

Don't worry I know what a target I am, especially with my background.

Its a country I would love to visit, but one I really hope I never do..

Are dnata generally ok for visas? I'm going to need an Indian one shortly and don't particularly like handing over my passport to just anyone.. These are the same guys that convert Emirates cards into Egate cards aren't they?

I did both my Indian ones directly with consulate/embassy, was easy enough.

dnata are owned by Emirates so shouldn't cause you any worries. Did my KSA visa through them a few months back and they handled everything rather than me faffing around between Abu Dhabi and back.

I heard that India now does visa on arrival for a number of nationalities - worth checking out before handing over the passport

India is easy.

Fill in the form on line and then you need a single visit to the place opposite Computer Plaza in Bur Dubai. I've always found this the quickest way of doing it.
