My rental agreement is up for renewal and my new Landlord wants to use the simple Ejari one page agreement instead of the contract I used with the last owner of the apartment (Betterhomes boilerplate). I understand this is subject to the wider Dubai rental terms, but can't find a copy of them anywhere. Anyone know if the one page document is all there is? It's very light if that's the case and lacks any reference to items such as termination notice etc. - I've seen swimming certificates with more detail

IIRC there is an other comments section on that form?

Either add anything you want in there or (what I did) just cut and paste most of BH's terms & conditions (removing a few I didn't like, Landlay either didn't object or didn't notice) and used that.

Cheers, I think that's going to be the only way. I found the base master RERA agreement here --> /www.ejari.me/our-service/ (Law 26)

which is pretty comprehensive and covers just about everything except the tenant requesting early termination.

Makes sense, there is no official legislation covering early termination afaik, it's down to coming to an agreement at that point with your LL.
