Hey guys,

So I have found out this week that I will be working in Dubai for a week in April, looks at the moment like it'll be over Easter Wkend. No idea on where I'll be staying but I think the client has offices split between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

I have the week after off on leave so thinking of staying out for an extra week to make the most of the free flights, depending on where work puts me I'll stay there and pay for the extra myself or any recommendations on a hotel, nothing too high end?

I'm quite happy to chill for a few days by the pool but any 'must sees' when I'm out there?

Any regional phers need a beer buddy hehe

Plenty of things to see and do here and with luck the weather in April should be just about OK for moving around still...

Have a search of this forum for previous posts suggesting things to see and do during a trip here, we're not the best at getting together for beers but I'm sure there'll be a few thirsty members about, post up once you have dates and location sorted.

So I'm going to be staying in the Habtoor Grand from the 11th-16th of April, just planning on chilling out but if anybody is around for a beer give me a holla hehe

However the week before this I'm with a client in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, since I'm there is Ferrari World or Yas Marina circuit worth seeing at all as I'll have Friday the 10th to mooch about?

Cheers guys smile

There is a thread running on Ferrari World at the minute, I wouldn't bother with it to be honest...

You are staying at the bottom end of JBR so plenty opportunity around there for beers

Yas will be worth a visit on the 10th. There'll be Racing going on the whole weekend there, Radicals, FG1000's, and time attack I think. Worth passing the time just to see the circuit, and plenty of places to pop into for a beer afterwards.
