Burj Khalifa tickets

Can someone advise whether I can just turn up to the ticket office in Dubai Mall, buy a ticket and go straight up or am I better off booking? I will be in Dubai in Feb and thought I might try and go up if I can do it at short notice.

You used to be able to, esp out of season or during the working week - but it seems more popular than ever now. You might get lucky, but there's coach after coach load of mainly Chinese tourists that head there day after day.

If you are at Dubai Mall anyway it's worth a punt, but if you want to be really sure of admission I'd advise booking on-line first

Last time I checked, it cost AED100 if you book in advance, or AED400 on the door.
