I went with my 8 year old son a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. No crowds, good bar, fair choice of rides.

The 'kamikaze' ride is considerably higher from the top than it looks from the bottom.

Dreamland is our water park of choice here - as already said, much emptier and relaxed than the Dubai options. It's seen better days but we always have a good time (kids 7 and 9).

Right next to Barracuda too, which is worth the drive in its own right.

Keep an eye out for 2 for 1 vouchers as well, no one ever pays full price to get in!

Having a toddler we think its brilliant. The beer served in ice blocks is pretty good too.

Oh, of course. There's a lovely little cafe type place that does beautiful locally produced jams and pastries....well worth the trip up there!

Be very careful if you ride the kamikaze ride.... I came within a hairs bredth of fracturing my skull the one time I rode it... the water at the bottom is waaaaaaaay too shallow for the momentum that an adult is carrying when they reach the bottom.

I hit my head so hard on the floor of the pool that I blacked out and had I not been pulled up by an alert friend who spotted what had happened I may well have drowned.

For that reason alone I would not recommend that park, stick to Wild Wadi or Aquaventure.

I agree with that Del. I had no intention of going on it, until my son decided I must.
I don't go on any kind of ride due to various historical maladies, and having been down that one, have no wish to repeat it.

Although the rest of the park was fine, special mention has to be made to the bar thumping out NWA at full volume, well within earshot of the kids pool.
