This week has been / will slightly more hectic than normal as:

Sunday: Dubai
Monday-Wednesday: Jodpur (India)

What a great idea for a post...I like it.

Mine has been up and down. The boy has been off nursery this week ,so a constant source of amusement (Read: PITA).
The wheels on the car have been done and look good, and parts for the suspension are about to be ordered, now that I know what to get.
The Mrs has been feeling better (4 months pregnant)so is less of a PITA.
Work is work....aggravation topped with a little bit more, but at least I've now hired a pretty little admin assistant to take all that crap away from me.
Oh, I've had mild flu on or off for about 6 weeks, and now the Mrs has googles "Cough" and is convinced I have lung-cancer.

Just off for a smoke.

been off work all week, so largely sleeping and tinkering in various garages.

booked xmas dinner for me and the wife. its nobu as trying to book anywhere else the week before xmas isn't a great idea.

did some work on the integra for team zettanet [plug: https://www.facebook.com/zettanetracing] which is coming along nicely.

fettled, prepped, cleaned and polished the jeep for sale. ended up selling it to a guy at work without even advertising, bit of a result. doing the transfer at the RTA tomorrow and i'm genuinely a little bit sad to see it go.

did a service and fluid change on the elise, thankfully with the aid of a 4post lift. still got a coolant change and air filter to replace but as that involves removing wheels and arch liners i will save that for another time.

took it on track at the evolve autocross yesterday. its not going to be a track car but we couldn't run the clio so was an ideal chance to discover on the limit handling traits. handles beautifully but brakes and tyres are at the end of life and i swapped ends big time lifting over the line.

festive drinks last night at a friends' in JVT was a welcome intrusion of christmas spirit. just about to head out to the pub to round the week off.

forecast for next week: heavy drinking!

Flew back from Jo'burg on the red-eye mid week. Went to the Barasti Christmas festival on Thursday night then did the Nike 10K at Downtown on Friday morning. Chilled out with the Mrs for the rest of the weekend and watched the last Hobbit film. Braved Ikea this morning, which was empty thank God.
