HSE Equipment

The company I work for need to buy HSE equipment to carry out a sewer inspection and sewer flow metering. We are looking for manual winch + tripods, gas monitors, disposable coveralls etc. Now we haven't bought any HSE equipment before in the UAE / Oman and hence I thought I would ask on the forum for HSE suppliers that have been used / recommended by forum members.

wurth for general PPE, Beta [via sedana] for boots. By far the comfiest.

raesystems for gas detectors/personal monitors. main site here but a quick google reveals several local supppliers

for the rope access that is fairly specialist so i doubt general QHSE suppliers [wurth, RS components] will stock it. megarme.com seem to do all the rope access stuff around the port so mayb sub it out to them.

Last time I did a sewer survey it was in an inflatable boat. From memory you don't need rope access, the tripod is there incase you have to which up an incapacated team member.

For gas monitors I really like BW Technologes, reliable, easy to calibrate and don't false alarm as much as others I've used.
I have a GasAlert Microclip XT (02, H2S, CO and %LEL) clipped to my work bag all the time.
