brunch in dubai

following on from my accommodation thread, I've been made aware that booking brunch is a must.

Looking for a great value (but not necessarily cheap) brunch. all inc for food and drink.

what do you guys recommend?

Barasti bar is still the place to go I heard.

Although not been in Dubai for a couple of years now.....

Depends on what you are after:

Traiteur - sophisticated, great food generally, lot's of couples
Al Qasr - huge brunch, good food, good atmosphere
Saffron - good laugh, can get a bit wild after at N'Dulge
Yalumba - good food and great party atmosphere
Double Decker - forget about the food, can get a bit lively

Bubbalicious is decent as well but very family orientated.

Would also suggest The Ivy and Seafire, two personal faves

I like Toro Toro at Grosvenor House or Bubbalicious.



Not a fan of saffron or bar-nasty (barasti)

Saffron for a complete pissup with loads of food - LOVE IT
Bubbalicious - but watch out for the vodka luge - I got my tongue stuck to it
Yulumba - I don't remember much about that one or after...

I really don't rate Al Qsar (from a veggies pov - it was st)

Most are between 500-700 AED depending if you go Champers or Sparkling.

At the Tapas Brunch at the Nine7One restaurant in the The Oberoi, Business Bay.

Really good, food is top notch, very fresh and high quality.

Best I've been to in a while.
