What options for car storage are you aware of in Dubai? It seems that there are a few logistics companies (Box ME etc.) which also offer space in their warehouses in DIP. The 1,500 - 2,500 AED monthly charges seem however a bit hefty considering that there is zero service available (cleaning, charging battery, space to work on the car...) and these warehouses are in no way climate-controlled.

A few workshops in Al Quoz also seem to store customers' cars, but again not climate controlled, and not really in an environment which is clean / accessible to move the car in and out easily etc.

Any other options you may have heard of?! It seems to me that I'm not the only one for whom lack of garage / storage space is the limiting factor in exotic or vintage car ownership...

I was going to suggest Parc Ferme... every time I'm up there Motaz seems to have a new Saudi toy being stored for its owner.
Not sure on the cost but they seem to be a decent operation.

Thanks, I'll make sure to check with Parc Ferme as well. Going by the number of vintage / weekend cars sitting most of the year in random car parks (e.g., Motorcity) or the lack of a 2nd or 3rd parking for those who live in Marina etc. - should there not be healthy demand for a "good value" storage option with some services to have the car cleaned / charged / valeted and where minor repairs can be made, possibly with some DIY space?

You having a laugh, common sense in the UAE. Many have tired this unless you have a mate with space you effectively have to set up a business with trade licence insurance etc. to get space. Therefore is cheaper to leave you 2nd/3rd car in a random car park and buy jump leads.

good value and dubai don't mix when it comes to motoring. the 'car enthusiast' of the men in sheds ilk is a very small fraction of the population.

I keep and work on my caterham in my parking bay, leave my car in he street. Phil keeps his caterham clone in his parking bay and it has been basiacly stripped back to a bare chassis and rebuilt, we keep the clio race car in a random bay beside it and do all the prep in the car park.

Just make sure we always clean up and keep security happy.
