I just had a quote to replace the Left side upper and both right side suspension arms and the bill was over 11 grand. Does this sound like a lot? A Jag XF.

Cheers.

excessive for the uk maybe, not so dubai!

isn't your car only a couple of years old though nick? needing new arms in that time is very odd and would be a warranty job. was something up with the car or has this been 'found' during a service?

Hi mate, unfortunately out of warranty now. I think it was a couple of hidden speed bumps that have knackered things.

what year and engine? xf front wishbones are coming up between 90-140quid each

so at full whack that's 450quids worth of parts plus a day's labour and a geo session. i'd want change from a grand sterling from a main dealer.

i take it you hit the speedbump, car is undriveable and now at the garage? i find it odd that wishbones are bent but nothing else needs replacing, hitting speedbumps hard enough to bend structural items normally results in huge damage everywhere.

i'd take it somewhere else, for a quote maybe AAA given they do a lot of JLR stuff.

Cool, many thanks. I'll see if I can get them from the UK.
