Marine Engine Specialist

A colleague of mine is having trouble with the Mercruiser fitted to his boat... basically it cranks but won't fire.
He's checked all the obvious things and an engine guy from Extreme Marine has also checked it over.

However, the Extreme Marine guy says that the reason it won't fire is that the exhaust needs changing, Mercruiser say that's rubbish so my colleage wants someone else to check it.

Any suggestions?

Can probably find someone through DOSC if needed, but can't recommend anyone personally. Happy to ask around though..
