Abu Dhabi car compound
Discussion
Hey guys,
i need some help from someone who knows how to deal with Abu Dhabi Police..
I got a traffic fine for speeding more than 200kmh on a road without radar stations (got lasert from a bridge)
So far so bad...
Apart from fine and black points i need to bring my car for 30 days into an compound in Abu dhabi.
I have been at all of these compounds now a couple times and always the same answer : sorry sir, we are full please check tomorrow or day after tomorrow..
I cant drive every day from Dubai to Abu Dhabi just to check if i will be able to park the car in the compound or not!!
They did not offert me to pay some cash to get the car `unlocked`
I really need some help as i want to get this issue out of my mind....
Thanks in advance guys...

Definitely 100Dhs a day - was forced upon me when I clocked a hefty speed in a rental Yaris a few years back. Most expensive speeding ticket ever (4000Dhs).
But not sure if Abu Dhabi runs the same rules as Dubai. And Dubai certainly isn't going to run out of space in its impound lot any time soon - it's out near Qusais and has a capacity for around 100k cars. When the Wrangler was in there last year for a week (I wish I'd paid to have it not taken in tbh) there was around 20,000 cars in there (with the keys all managed by one dude in a portacabin...).
