supplier taking me out this evening, need something tasty but not too bling as he's paying.

just recovered from a touch of food poisoning so not wanting anything too rich or spicy.

where would you go?

PS - went to tortuga last week at al quasr. excellent food and not too pricey, recommended.

Love the Ivy. Favourite eatery in Dubai - unpretentious, good quality food, great atmosphere (usually) and service is spot on. Probably been about 10 times now.

Only problem with the Ivy is timing.

Thursdays are awesome.

Fridays tend to be quieter, especially early.

But late for this now, but as anyone been to Salero Tapas and Bodega?

In the MOE downstairs at the Kempinski.

Went last night. Food was fantastic (if you go make sure you get the oxtail in the tapas specials, 24 hour slow cooked and tasted incredible - the Gambas was also excellent)
The staff are European and Spanish, it's nice to go somewhere where service is decent.
The wines are pretty good, and it wasn't too expensive really considering....

One of my new favourites in Dubai for sure.
