Who is "The Canadian"?

I 've looked at a number of possible next cars in Dealerships over the last few weeks. Upon asking how they came by the car, at least three of them said "we bought it from a Canadian, he has a large car collection". Who is this enigma and why did he feel the need to own three different 911s and then sell them all at once? It's a mystery that needs solving...
