Suggest something different to do!

So I want to get out and do something over the weekend, something different, outdoors and out of Dubai.

Any suggestions?

Is there anywhere in the mountains that rent mountain bikes?
Kayaking on the coast?

I don't mind driving a few hours for something worth while!

- Kayaking in the Mangroves in either Abu Dhabi or Kalba
- A hack across to Fujairah, lunch in Bikers Cafe over there and then the Bull Fighting
- Bike companies in Dubai will rent you a bike, and I'm sure a bike rack, then head up to the Wadi around Showka
- Go for a nice drive up Jebel Jais - I believe the full road is open.
- Al Ain Karting, up Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain Zoo
- Early morning camel racing at Marmoum

I have my skydiving licence so not anything too new doing indoor stuff. But nice suggestion.

Yea I have a 4x4, definitely camping in Oman in next few weeks before it gets too hot.
But need something just for the day. Actually looking at Sunday now, provided it's not too windy have got mountain bike rental sorted out.
Will load in back of RR and head out to Showka I think.
