I'm getting my wedding suit done. Nothing too flashy, no tails etc., just a 3-piece suit in the fabric I chose, with the cut I want and then big enough to fit the Father in Law, as most off-the-peg suits won't stretch that far.
I've done Deepas (especially Bespoke by Deepas) quite a few times for countless shirts and a few suits, however I found they started getting complacent and cocky - prices went up substantially, time to produce went up, and the quality went down.
I'm looking for suggestions for other tailors in Satwa - I don't know Bur Dubai and don't fancy trekking down there and getting lost.
I've heard lots of good things about Whistle and Flute - has anyone had anything from them recently?
Other suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks

Few of my mates have used that.
For clarity, assume you mean the hotel at the front of Media City?
Its on the corner of Al Sufoth and Beach Road, tailor itself is opposite Barasti. For clarity, assume you mean the hotel at the front of Media City?
This is the place - http://www.kachinsdubai.com/home.html
Looks ok form a quick visit the other week. Yet to have anything made there, but I know some of the people where Gaffer works, and if the quality is good enough for them, I think they will be more than fine..

I use Whistle and Flute, as did a mate who recently left dubai. Material can sometimes be a bit more expensive than elsewhere but they'll happily let you provide your own.
Thanks Reffio.Went in last night and spoke to the guys. Saw some of the suits they were working on for customers and the quality is head and shoulders above what I've been provided and what I've seen in other Tailors around Dubai.
They don't have the fabric I'm looking for so now trawling the other fabric shops on Satwa Rd for 16yrd of fabric, which is very difficult!
I use Kachin's in Meena Bazaar (I think that's Cosmos Lane) in Bur Dubai. The Tamani Hotel branch is more expensive and no better quality. I only go to one tailor - I think his name's Hassan and am very specific about the cut and finish. Don't do shirts there - the quality is not that good.
Usual Dubai rules apply - if they know you're a fussy customer and will keep looking over their shoulder, they will do a top job. If you don't, expect the quality to suffer.
