UK Smart TV in UAE

Hello all.

I have read various reports of whether UK smart TVs will work in the UAE and so I thought I would open it up to the masses.

Has anyone brought their TV from the UK and do they work all fine? The bits I have heard that are problematic seem to be just in the terrestrial receivers, so IF you are using set top boxes/PS/XBox/DVD etc and the like surely this is not a problem?

Secondly, the TV I have back home has Netflix installed, has anyone got this (and other streaming services) working over here, either by changing DNS settings in the router or any other means?

hi yes dns or vpn will fix it, depends on the service.
