if so could you please do me a favour and see how many reward miles this would take:


DXB > LAX. depart 3rd april, return 20th april.

airmiles have an offer on to convert airmiles to privelege miles and i just want to see how many it would 'cost' me if i did so. i just joined their scheme but it won't let me see how many miles are needed as i don't have any.

i'd also be interested in what the 'miles + cash' option would be for a 50/50 split.

I just tried it for you and you'd need to phone them as they will only quote as far as Chicago, DC, NY or Houston online with the Qcalculator. I've done Vegas twice in the last half of last year and could only book to Chicago with miles then had to book the internal flight to Vegas separately.

Just as a guide, Doha to Chicago return in business was 99750 miles. Not sure if that helps you much.

Not sure if this will work but here goes:


First 225,000 Qmiles
Business 150,000 Qmiles
Economy 75,000 Qmiles

That's DXB to JFK return. Any dates the same.
