Abu Dhabi meets and / or runs

Hello all,

I have now been here a few days and starting to find my feet, I have a hire car and settling in a bit more.

Do any of the Abu Dhabi lot arrange any evening mets, either car or pub/food related and are there any runs ever arranged?

We have difficulty arranging meets in DXB let alone UAH! hahahahaha

Your best bet is to join some of the local Car Forums. Its that time of the year when a lot of drives take place and events are held.

7 or 14 Feb Evolve.as will be having a drive up to Khasab (N. Oman). Stunning roads along the sea shore with lunch at the local hotel.

31 Jan, the BMW club are driving to Fujeriah for the day.

Both have members coming from AUH, who normally come up in convoy.

24 Jan, Evolve.ae are having a AutoX event at Dubai Autodrome - you drive what you bring, but the list is currently full however, about 30% never show up.

Both the above clubs are Dubai based.

I like the idea of the 14 Feb, but it is Valentines day - no bigger for us "brass ball males" but the females in our lives may have a word or two to say about it.

Hmmm the 14th sounds good to me too. Back from the uk on the 9th and fly out again on the 15th not taken the new motor out for a proper spin and would love to have a poke around the 360 as am considering a weekend car and they are high on the list.

I got there shortly after 6, didnt kick off till gone 8 so a lot of waiting around but some nice metal there.
