Think I may have an issue.

I have 2 cars and 1 motorbike registered to me here in Dubai.

I just bought another car. However, I remember hearing that you can only have 3 vehicles as an expat? Is this correct? Does this means 3 cars? Essentially, my motorbike isnt included in the 3?

Have to do the transfer today at 2pm. Suffice to say, if they cant do it on my name then my wife will have a nice E30 M3 in her name!

Its as many as you want in Dubai.

Are you sure about that? I was told it was three and ended up re-registering my Caterham in the wife's name as a result...

I live in AD and have way more than 3 cars registered to me smile. I think they loosened up after getting rid of so many expats in the recent purges

In Dubai it certainly used to be two, but that's old info, not sure what it is now. The rules were originally intended to prevent expats from engaging in car dealing.

I checked, its as many as you want.
Bearing in mind I now have 4 and I know a mate with 7 in Dubai, this confirms it. I asked the main boss at Tasjeel, you can have as many as you want in Dubai.

The restriction of two is in relation to financed vehicles I believe, but again im sure the rules changed on that last year well the back end of last year aswell.
