is a standard line used by a well-known PH'er as soon as he walks into any shop/retail outlet in Dubai! I've just done the same at a well-known Jag dealer, and it bloody works. I've had nothing but mis-understandings, lies, and bullsh!t from 3 service "engineers" and I had had enough. On the off-chance of speaking to Mr Al Tayer himself I rang the manager to complain that I WILL be collecting my car tonight, so just put it back together with the old parts, and you can shove your warranty.
Once I had vented my frustration out on him, he took all the details and phoned mt back 20 minutes later. Everything sorted, extra care being taken, cosmetics taken care under warranty, no question.

Now I feel bad for shouting. Can someone pick my car up for me tomorrow?

Know how you feel Chilli, you never want to get stroppy, but sometimes there's no other option. Good on ya, hopefully car is all sorted once you pick up. Don't worry mate, they'll know next time no to mess you around. Once your warranty is expired, get yourself a good indy, I left Gargash a while back and Silber Arrows are now the authority on my car

I put our Evoque to Al Tayer for a service last week, when organising i spoke to 3 people on the phone, non could tell me how much it would cost, how long it would take apart from a rough guess of 2 days and who could do it whether or not it was in Garhoud, SZR or Sharjah.

When i did finally get the car dropped off and in for the service i did not recieve one phone call, i had to initiate all contact and i got the car back 48 hours later.

Got there in the end though :-) haha
