Importing cars to KSA - age restriction?

Can we bring cars into KSA, and register them, that are older than 5 years?

I am getting conflicting info. I have read a Drive Arabia article which said that any cars older than 5 years are not allowed to be brought into KSA - that article was from 2009 though.

As some who goes to work in KSA often and could nearly double my salary if moved, I did chose to stay here.
