I read it as if you work a 6 day week, you get Sat and Sun off.

If you work a 5 day week, you have Sunday off (on the basis you have Friday/Saturday off anyway) if your employer decided to grant it?

No you haven't, that article has been updated again since I posted it, the 5/6 day things wasn't there before.

So companies discretion for us basically.

I work a 6 day week, but they've already cancelled my patients for the monday!

i work in a free zone so holidays are always moved around to suit. if it falls on a weekend or midweek it gets moved to the start or end of the week. makes much more sense for businesses to do this, no idea why most choose not to.
