F1 and Motorshow Trip

I've just been in Dubai for a weekend with work (it was far too hot for me in summer though) and decided to book another trip back next month so am coming for 2 weeks in November; squeezing in the Grand Prix (although haven't sorted anything for viewing it yet), the Motorshow at the DWTC and some other things.

But as ever, on the look out for an entirely car filled fortnight. I'm coming with an automotive photographer and our number one aim is to video/photo the coolest things and perhaps some secrets of Dubai. We've arranged a couple of private shoots, have plans to visit Al Ain Class again, and Fibra Foil; as well as plenty of time around Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.

Does anybody have any ideas of other things worth doing with time out there? Car events or gatherings, or any collections/connections that might be visitable?

I am going to the F1 - looks like I will be there on my own on Friday and Saturday so shout me if you wanna meet up so I don't look like a complete billy no mates.

Hey Shmee, maybe a visit to the Rainbow Sheikh car museum in Abu Dhabi as well as maybe trying to speak to Mohammed bin Sulayem and checking out his collection! apart from that some of the hotels have great cars on the weekend Habtoor Grand especially! PM me if you need contacts!

Seriously though, I will be there at the F1, I am taking my Z06 through Saudi from Qatar to get there in a Top Gear challenge stylee vs my friend who is flying.

I should be arriving in Abu Dhabi around lunchtime Friday and am leaving Monday.

I was actually planning on proposing meeting up for the PH lot as the concerts look like they will be rubbish.
