I had a splendid evening in the company of Mr Shirt who is looking in particularly rude health, an evening which ran as smoothly as ever, if you discount-
1. Him being late for dinner.
2. His phone dying, prior to receiving directions, resulting in 4 missed calls from a petrol station, the penny finally dropping, and me driving around/sitting at the entrance for half an hour waiting for the prize pillock to arrive.
3. This bottle of red goes exceptionally well with itself.
4. Exhaust pipes generally get hot enough to burn your leg.
5. There really isnt much you can say about a sleeping infant.
6. A terrible confession from two us us, to Rose.
7. Porsche 911 specifications taking up a great deal of time.
and lastly, 8 (excluded from the above as i technically only found this out this morning) the bbq isn't a store for your empty beer bottles (pissed logic- empties in BBQ, lid on, no more empties).
Oh, actually, having left ash all over the floor outside, its best not to start the day with "hardly MY fault, I didnt invent gravity".
Luckily, I blamed a very good friend of mine for the whole lot.
Good to see you mate, have a lovely trip, and will catch up on neutral ground for another mature, sensible, very grown up evening soon. Preferably with Jase in tow.
