Dubai Lotus dealership

Looks like this is finally happening, Lady Haw Haw was going on about it tonight on City 7 news. Opening in late October at Festival City. Limited to selling and servicing on Evoras to start with, but sounded like other models to follow - I guess when Hethel get around making sure the Exige V6 doesn't melt on a hot day.

I shall be avoiding the place like the plague, it will be all over if I step inside!

Showroom is next to the Fisker showroom - saw it a few weeks back with green and yellow hoardings up outside so put 2 and 2 together and thought it was Lotus. Did some digging and found that Al Futtaim were advertising for staff back in April.

Taken them long enough to sort things out, was talking with the previous 'owners' in the UAE a few years back about them coming out - that was in the Dany Baher era though, so now things should be a bit more planned out.

It's taken a while to get things sorted by end of October and we should be going.

I saw the first cars come off the plane end of last week.
