I know some say X Garage is good. Others use House of Cars of course.
And there is of course Saluki Motorsports and of course A2B garage.

All have had reasonable reports in the past I have to say.

I was in X centre the other day - lots of late model cars there so they appear to have some support

Cheers, MMW, X Service and Falcon are what he's been told.

Another mate's uses MMW, seems like an good choice.

personally wouldn't touch a2b with a bargepole, but remains to be seen if the change in ownership has brought in a new approach.

I had a falling out with A2B last year.

Paul Denby is the new owner and is a good egg. BTW, he won't touch X5s with a bargepole. Says they are not worth the trouble.

A2B is under new ownership, has expanded facilities, has sacked all but one of the old staff and taken on new mechanics. It is effectively a new business. I would personally never deal with the old A2B again - you can PM me if you want to know why. But I have known the new owner Paul Denby for many years and the guy is first class.

+1 on A2B being a disaster. Destroyed one of my engines and lost my roll bar. Denied all responsibility too.

If the new management and staff are decent they really should change their name, otherwise they'll forever be tarnished by the reputation of those that went before.

Saluki good though.

Anyone use M-Tech Auto Services in Al Quoz? They were suggested to me today as a good indy for my Audi.

I'm on the lookout for a decent BMW indy too.

I went over to DAS at the weekend as they have come recommended......however, after taking my details and promising me a call back I've had nothing. Customer Server in Dubai, is at best diabolical! Do you not want my custom!!??

I had a quote from X Service for a full service on the E36 M3 and they said it would be 3000aed. They seem friendly enough, but need to compare prices with others.

I found one other in Sharjah, but need to dig out their details.

Has sacked all of the old staff...............really ................you dont know what your talking about my friend, but as he is one of your old friends what can I say

Then again good/old friends dont brag about how much they fleeced people when sharing a race car in orange and white. As they say pay enough and you can buy so called friends

??

It would be good to know who you are so I know your agenda. Not sure what you mean about getting fleeced.

As I understood only one of the old staff stayed on. Oh well...

What's the story with warranty here and have work done at indy's?
As the oil in the srt8 needs changed every 5k, if I have it done away from Jeep will they play silly fools come the need to claim anything under warranty.

I would imagine so.

I had this argument with a mate who has the new srt Jeep.

Service book states every 10k, their response was to give him a different Al Futtaim service book with 5k intervals!

Another friend has the previous shape 5.7 Jeep, the guy he bought it off (first owner) was told his warranty was invalid when he took it in for first service at 10k (as per supplied book). He played hell with them until they relented and kept the warranty intact.

Thought that might be the way, twice the price and half the service.......
