Which Porsche would you choose?
Discussion
Ok, so I am narrowing the field now.
What do you guys recon is the one to go for:
- Standard 964 Turbo in Martime Blue or Yellow (See pikkies)
- 964 with RWB Kit and Modified engine
- GT3 Gen 2
They are all about the same price at the end of the day. I am leaning towards the 964 turbo though, I love those wide body 964 Turbos in these colours.
Let me know what you think. Cheeaaaarsss.

Sadly the both 964s are sold (Although they were RHD anyway...and therefore the wonderful UAE laws wont allow us to register them here)
Still, good to get thoughts on the situation> I think if I get a 964 I will get a 3.3...as the 3/6's are coming on from 70-100,000 GBP Sterling! Thats a lot of monkey. I think the 3.3's are a good bet, same body, little less power but much cheaper.

Thanks Dusty. Those guys are bloody useless however. I tried contacting them a few months back about an Integrale they "Supposedly" had for sale. No one ever called back even after leaving about 6 messages with them. Useless.
They claim to have cars for sale but in actual fact it seems that they just get people to register on their site, then people can buy through the online auctions....howevereversince registering on their site I have been getting shedloads of Spam Japanese emails...like about 40 a day. Luckily my spam filter takes 99% of them out.
Cowboys.
It really annoying the sh't out of me when people do stuff like that.

+1It's perfect.
i know of a red 3.6 turbo, original GCC car [ex sultan of oman] which the owner would sell for the right price. he had it up for 600k a while back with no biters, i know he paid nowhere near that. can put you in touch with both current and previous owners if you like.
Luke,
I am not a big fan of the RWB kits - the 964 Turbo (aka 965) is of course an amazing car. Friend of mine owns a black/black 3.3 back in Lebanon and it is just superb. There are a few black and red 964 Turbos in Dubai but I doubt they will be for sale shortly, so here you will almost certainly need to import one. Nothing I would take to the track though... If that's what you are after, the 997 GT3 is the right choice. The white one in your picture is a 997.1 GT3 though
Having said that, both the 965 and 997 GT3 are wise choices, lots of fun and classic cars already today.
Best,
Jan

Not the first in the Middle East; already two in Dubai and I believe one has been built in Saudi a couple of months back. I do like the body styling, however I hate the new big spoilers some of them seem to be sporting.I do like the interior in that one!

Hey Shirt, Thanks for that. I think I met this chap a while back. Are you sure its a 964 and not a 930? I thought i saw the chap in Spinneys car park in Motor City a year ago. His name was Jamie if I recall. Is this the same chap? If not I would like to speak to him....not for 600k AED though obviously. : )i know of a red 3.6 turbo, original GCC car [ex sultan of oman] which the owner would sell for the right price. he had it up for 600k a while back with no biters, i know he paid nowhere near that. can put you in touch with both current and previous owners if you like.
if it was on splitrim speedlines it is a pukka 964. jamie is the current owner, a guy called chris owned it for a good while before him. both work for the same company i do. jamie's other car is a 430 scud and chris' is a factory ddge viper race car, so both are car guys and have pampered the porker.
eta, bad pic but you get the idea:
