I saw that, the money you need for a 4.0 is just too high - I'm sure it is what 10% better than a 3.8 RS, which changes hands for 420-480k these days. I'd take a 3.8RS, a GT2, and 400k in the bank thanks. Or consider this: you could have a GT2 RS (faster than the 4.0) and a 3.8RS for similar money!

By the way, was in Al Awir the other night..not the safest place tobe to buy cars granted. However at Nuburgring Motors they had a white GT2 - 2008 model with 30,000 kms for 390k asking. Aint bad. (Akropovic exhaust)

GCC car or import? History? Did you see service books with stamps?

I saw a 2009 GT2 last year which was in a dealers imported from Qatar. No service book (odd for a few year old car I thought?). Had like 9,000km on it. I got the VIN, called Porsche Qatar, and asked about its service history. Came back that it had been service, which was good. Mileage at last service? More than double what the clock showed.

Don't trust anything you see when it comes to cars like this at dealers!!!
